Matthew Kane

As a Director of MK Hydraulic Consultants Pty Ltd, Matthew is responsible for the design & documentation of plumbing & drainage hydraulic services works as well as fire hydrant/fire hose reel systems undertaken by MK Hydraulic Consultants in Queensland and Australia for in excess of 15 years.

Matthew is fully licensed as a hydraulic designer, contractor and supervisor with the QBCC in Queensland.

Matthew commenced his career in the construction industry with a plumbing & drainage apprenticeship in the commercial sector.  Upon completion of his apprenticeship, Matthew started & operated a successful plumbing & drainage business for a number of years focusing on small to medium commercial projects.  Matthew continued his secondary studies to further advance his career opportunities in the hydraulic services industry & has been a qualified hydraulic consultant since late 2011.  Matthew has also been a licensed full member of the AHSCA since late 2011.

Matthew has been involved in numerous projects throughout Queensland, which has allowed him to investigate innovative designs, design specialty services such as vacuum drainage systems, water management systems & laboratory isotope systems to name a few.  He has also worked on government projects throughout Queensland, ranging from Correctional Centers, Youth Detention Centers & Convention Centers.

Matthew’s experience catalogue extends to projects such as hotels, resorts, residential developments (high rise & low rise), architectural houses, banks, schools, institutional and public buildings, fast-food, retail developments, industrial developments, heritage buildings, laboratories, refurbishment’s, retirement villages, aged care facilities and computer data centers.  Matthew also works closely with national retail clients to deliver national generic hydraulic services designs & specifications.
